JapanPass.com is operated by a sole trader based in Kobe, Japan. By using this site you agree to these terms. The content on this site is for informational and booking purposes.
Consulting sessions are delivered via Google Meet. Tours are delivered in person in Japan. Digital guides are delivered by download after purchase. All bookings are confirmed by email.
A business can pay to be a JapanPass partner. There are four tiers, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum, and the current prices are on the For Business page and in our 特定商取引法 disclosure.
What a partner tier is. It changes how your listing appears and where it sits in our pages. It does not change what we say about you.
What a partner tier is not. It is not the green Curated mark. That mark is given only after someone from JapanPass has visited a place in person, it is not for sale at any price, and paying for any tier does not bring it closer. These are two separate things and we keep them separate on purpose.
A partner listing runs for [[ TERM_MONTHS ]] months from the date payment clears. It renews automatically for a further [[ TERM_MONTHS ]] months unless you cancel, and the card on file is charged on the renewal date.
You can cancel at any time by replying to any email from us or writing to [[ SUPPORT_EMAIL ]]. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund the part of the term you have already paid for, and your listing keeps its tier until the term ends.
If we end a partner listing ourselves for any reason other than a breach of these terms, we refund the unused part of the term, pro rata.
Consulting sessions. Cancel more than [[ CONSULTING_CANCEL_HOURS ]] hours before the booked time and you get a full refund. Inside that window there is no refund.
Custom and private tours are different. A tour commits rooms, transport and guide days weeks or months ahead, so it carries a deposit and a refund scale that depends on how far ahead you cancel. The full terms are at japanpass.com/tour-terms, and the version attached to your quote is the one that applies to your trip.
Digital products are not refundable once delivered, unless there is a technical problem with the file, in which case tell us and we will fix it or refund it.
