Which table applies depends on how many guiding days your booking has. Your quote names the schedule it was sent under.
Days are counted in whole 24-hour periods back from the tour start time, in Japan time.

Rescheduling is offered first, free of charge, wherever the guide calendar allows. There is no cut-off date for asking. If no alternative date works, the cancellation bands below apply.
If I cancel, you receive a full refund, and I will introduce you to another guide if you would like one.
If weather, an official warning or suspended transport makes a day impossible, that day is moved to another point in the trip where possible. If it cannot be moved, that day is refunded in full.
I wait 30 minutes at the meeting point, then try to contact you. After that the day counts as delivered.
The day rate covers up to 6 guests. There is no per-person supplement.
You book your own transport and lodging. I do not hold or pay for them on your behalf.
Refunds go back to the original payment method within 10 days of the cancellation date, in JPY. Card and bank transfer fees are not returned.
The terms attached to your quote are the ones you agreed to, and they do not change afterwards. This page shows the current schedules (tq-2026-08-01). If your quote names a different version, that one governs your booking.
